Purchase a beautiful poinsettia grown by Down Home Ranch! By ordering a poinsettia, you help to decorate the sanctuary for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. You may indicate if your plant is In Honor of or In Memory of a loved one.
You may take your poinsettia home after the Christmas Eve service or leave it at the church to be donated to area shut-ins.
Poinsettias will be $15 each.
Please include your payment with order form and return to the FUMC office or place in the offering plate.
Deadline date to order is Tuesday, December 17.

FUMC will be volunteering at Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry Saturday, February 9 from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
If you would like to bring donations for the Food Pantry, you may place your non-perishable food items in the shopping cart outside of the sanctuary. Thank you!

Betty Ashworth
It is with great sadness that I share with you the news of Elizabeth “Betty” Ann (Hooton) Ashworth’s death. Betty was an educator, life long Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church of Taylor. In addition to being active in the Methodist Church, Betty was also a member of the Nature Center in Weslaco and the Audubon Society. We give thanks to God for Betty’s many contributions to humanity and creation.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at
Condra Funeral Home, 503 Talbot Street, Taylor, Texas 76574.
Visitation: Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 6 – 8:00 P.M.
Funeral: Thursday, January 24, 2019, 2 – 3:00 P.M.
Reception: To follow Funeral Service.
Burial: To follow Reception at the Taylor City Cemetery.
