Mother’s Day Out! (MDO)
Mother’s Day Out is an extension of our Children’s ministry of First United Methodist Church.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
At First United Methodist MDO we believe that each child is a unique creation of God, filled with potential, to be treated with love, care and respect. It is our goal to encourage a healthy self concept in each child, an excitement and joy for learning and a love for the Lord.
Our program is designed to stimulate a child’s physical, mental, creative, social and emotional development while maintaining a strong spiritual emphasis throughout the curriculum. We believe that young children learn best primarily through play and “hands-on” experiences.

Summer Program – Ages 12 months through 12 years old.
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm
Summer 2024 Program Dates: June 4 – July 25
(MDO will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day)
Summer 2024 Registration Fee – $50 per child
Monthly Tuition: $250 per month for the first child
$20 per month sibling discount for subsequent child(ren) in the same household.
2024-2025 School Year – Ages 12 months through five years old.
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm
September 3, 2024 – May 15, 2025
Registration Fee: $175 per child
Monthly Tuition: $260 per month for the first child
$20 per month sibling discount for subsequent child(ren) in the same household.
